The company emblem

The company emblem of Yamada Nenjudou is deeply rooted in Buddhist teachings, specifically the "Eightfold Path," which represents the correct path leading to the world of Buddha.
This fundamental teaching of Shakyamuni Buddha is intertwined with the "Juzu Kudokuzu" (Juzu Merit Diagram) possessed by Yamada Nenjudou, symbolizing eight realms and forming the basis of our company emblem.
Within Yamada Nenjudou, this concept is also referred to as "Hasshoudou."

The eight realms depicted in our emblem are as follows:

  1. Shakyamuni Buddha: Positioned at the pinnacle, representing the Buddha who appeared in this world to impart teachings to us.
  2. Amida Nyorai (Amitabha Tathagata): Guides beings to the Pure Land in the next life.
  3. The Universe: Through its movements, it brings about the changing seasons and times, directs human affairs towards better outcomes, and protects Buddhism.
  4. The Present World: The realm in which we live.
  5. Jizo Bodhisattva: Situated at the base, extending a helping hand even in hellish realms.
  6. The Six Realms (Rokudou): Representing the realms of hell, hungry ghosts, animals, asuras, humans, and heavenly beings.
  7. The Six Paramitas (Ropparamitsu): Practices aimed at attaining true peace and liberation from suffering.
  8. Maitreya Bodhisattva: Prophesied to appear in this world 5.67 billion years in the future to save all beings.

Our emblem symbolizes our reverence for Buddhism and rosaries, our dedication to our work, and our aspiration to accumulate the fruits of good deeds in both the present and future.
The circular shape of the rosary signifies harmony and amicable relations, with compassion circulating among all. The number eight also conveys the wish for Buddha's teachings to spread widely.
The color of Yamada Nenjudou's emblem is lapis lazuli blue, one of the seven treasures in Buddhism and a traditional Japanese color.
This hue symbolizes the earth, reminding us that rosaries are crafted from the blessings of our planet, for which we are deeply grateful.
